Cannot access google

Hello! So this is a weird one. Here are the symptoms.

Half of the time when I try to search something in google (either by trying to reach google.com or using the search field of my browser). The page won't load and the error message err_connection_timedout appear.

This problem seems to appear and dissapear randomly. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

Connecting to a VPN somehow fix the problem instantly but a few hours after it will start again.

When this happen google is the only website I cannot reach every other web site load instantly.

I use the default internet app.

Any idea?

I've found Google to be finicky lately, not sure if it's all their security upgrades or something less mundane. Anyway have you tried clearing your browser history? Clearing the cache for the browser? Or closing old pages/tabs? That would be where I'd start, because if you're able to connect thru a VPN it kinda takes your history and probably some of your cache issues out of the equation.
