Samsung forced Marshmallow update; deleted all of my data

[AC Question]

While I was at the park with my kids, Samsung forced the Marshmallow update on me. In the process, it deleted everything off my phone, including all of my account settings, identity, WiFi passwords, apps, etc. I've been able to recover some data, but the photos are gone. Any suggestions about how to get them back? There have been several months of photos since the last photo sync to google, so no luck there.

I appreciate any help you can give.
