Okay, so on my android phone, in the root folder of my internal storage i created a folder named .nomedia to store... Ehm.. Stuff in. But recently i noticed that my android phone doesnt detect some photos and music (in completelly different directories). So my question is, when i have the folder named .nomedia in the internal storage, could it make my phone tag the whole storage as there is no media ?

Welcome to Android Central! It's usually a .nomedia file, rather than a folder (although I'm actually not sure if a folder does the same thing). A .nomedia file will make the system ignore that directory and any subdirectories when scanning for images to add to the Gallery database. So rather than putting that folder in the root directory, try making it a subfolder of the Pictures directory (or create a new directory called "Stuff" and put that folder there).
