Can I swap sim card on my note 4 without migrating the contacts

A

AC Question

I want to buy another sim card with different number for my phone.
I need this number for bussines contacts only.
I will need to use my usual google apps and services but I want to make sure "no bussiness" contacts will not be able to contact me.
Is it possible or do I need to buy another phone?
I just dont want google to migrate all my contacts to the new sim card.

Welcome to Android Central! Do you know which account your current contacts are saved to? If they're all saved to your Google account, then there's nothing you have to do, because the contacts sync with your Google cloud. You can tell by editing your contacts and seeing which account they're associated with. You can also go to contacts.google.com on your web browser and see if all of your contacts are there.

If the contacts are saved to your local Phone account, then they're saved to the phone's internal storage (not the SIM card). Changing the SIM won't affect this either. I would caution you, though, that keeping your contacts in the local Phone account only is risky, since this account doesn't sync anywhere automatically. So if something happens to the phone, you might lose all of that information.
