Lg g3 Android 6.0 Recent screens doesn't show open apps

Hello, recently after updating to marshmallow I have noticed randomly my "recent screens" will stop showing any open apps. I have to reset my phone for the list of open apps to appear again in my recent screens window. I did a factory reset and the problem has resurfaced. I was wondering if any one has had this problem and know of any solutions? Thanks

I'm having the same problem, can't seem to figure this out.

Unless you have been playing in the developer options, the following solution probably won't apply but it is worth trying.
In Developer options under applications, there is a switch labeled, "Do not keep activities", it should be in the off position.
It is a long shot but worth a few seconds to check.
