Why can't I pick which photos to transfere from my phone to my computer?

I plug in my USB from Samsung S 5 phone to HP lap top computer I pick USB from notifications from my phone. Photos show (300 example) on my computer screen I want to pick 10 photos only to transfer. How do I select and transfer only 10 pictures?

On the photo you want to transfer, left-click and hold the left mouse button down, then drag the photo from the phone folder to the your desktop, or wherever you want them to reside. Do this for all 10 photos. There are other ways of moving files, but this should work for you for the little amount of files you want to move.
