Battery Life horrible after recent update. Galaxy S5 on Bell

I got the marshmellow update back when it was released and at the time everything seemed ok. Just last week another small update was pushed to my phone. Didn't really say what it was other than "performance improvements" and it is absolutely crushing my battery. Tried to do a calibration and didn't seem to do much. To add insult to injury, it seems as though "Doze" has quit working in this latest update as when my phone is in airplane mode, all recents and apps closed, it will burn 5% over the course of 4 hours while I am sleeping and not using it. Has anybody had any recent issues?
