free calls won t work on s3 mini

[AC Question]

Before installing the Lollipop update, I was able to use Facebook's Free call through Messenger. After the update, I couldn't not receive call notifications (app stated I missed a call) and when attempting to call someone, the app just stated "Connecting". Then it proceed to free the app and leave the call as "connected" in the notifications bar. I've tried clearing the cache and data, as well as uninstalling the app and installing it again. Is this an issue with messenger or with the update?
