When I drive to work each day I cross the Belgian/Dutch border and it often takes up to 5 minutes before my phone will automatically switch providers, even though call quality becomes to bad to be usable almost "at" the border.

Waze happily announces the border crossing (in the latest version) but I would like my phone to just switch to the new country's provider at that point. At the same time I don't want to run a battery draining location service all day just for those 2 moments...

Since I'm already running Waze in the car, the GPS is active at that time (and the phone has external power). So using Tasker, Trigger, Llama, Automate would be possible but can they detect a generic border crossing or would I have to create a flow for a specific border crossing point (that would not work if I took an alternate route)?

Which tool would be best to use for this?
