Will my Nexus5 work with MHL device?

[AC Question]

I have a Kenwood dnx 692 car deck that has HDMI/MHL input in the back. As I understand Nexus5 is not compatible with MHL devices. Is there any easy way to connect my phone to the deck so I can do Google maps etc. without jumping through hoops? Thanks.
