Locked out and Google account recovery isn't working?

[AC Question]

So my husband let our son use his LG to play Pokemon, the kid went out let the phone sit and when he had to come back and put in the PIN number he entered it wrong too many times and now it is locked in a screen asking to sign in with a google account. Every time we put in my husbands account info it says it is incorrect. We went online on our PC and entered it and it is working fine? So what is going on with the phone? Are we locked out of it for a certain amount of time or do we just have no other option than to hard reset? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks as if you may have to do a factory reset. Although this link is not specifically for your LG phone, it does give you some clues as to how to reset your phone.

If this link doesn't help you, Reference your owners manual for "Factory Reset" be warned, that if you must do a factory rest, you will lose all of your data, saved links, apps etc..and next time, get the kid his own phone..
