My Galaxy s7 camera did not flash when taking pictures in low light

I was using the camera on auto. the light in the room was low (wedding hall) and the camera's flash did not go off when taking the pictures. the pictures are very dark. I didn't see any setting where I could turn the flash on. how can I fix this? I just got the phone yesterday so don't have a lot of experience with it yet.

Little arrow top right has a few settings ( including flash) Had to hunt for it myself.
