I have an SD card that has 7.40g of memory. Out of the 7.40g I have only used about 3.50g. I have recently deleted a lot of pictures as to make room on my SD card. I usually move the storage of apps I've downloaded from my phone to my SD card. But today when I tried it went to 90% then closed and said there wasn't enough room, even though there is more than enough. What can I do to fix it?
Edit: when I said it went to 90% is when I was trying to move my apps from my internal memory to me SD card and the phone is an LG stylo

Which phone? When you say it went to 90%, was this when you were trying to move an app to SD, or when you were trying to install a new app from the Play Store?

Can you show us screenshots of your Settings>Storage menu (showing both Internal Storage and the external microSD card)? http://forums.androidcentral.com/amb...d-central.html

Sorry, but we can't access those files. Are you unable to post the screenshots as described in my guide?

Version of Android and how the card was installed? (If it's internal storage [that's what it looks like from post #7] it works completely differently than if it's external storage. 780MB of free space is almost zero these days.)

Post #8 shows the SD as portable. Run SD Insight to make sure your card is genuine, since there are a lot of counterfeit cards out there.

Post #3 contradicts post #1 / OP. (now edited)
Internal storage doesn't have enough to download first of all.
OP needs to free space / uninstall apps to download the bank app.

And yes I can download some apps that don't take up much space but the problem is moving them from my internal storage to my SD csrd

Hmm, I'm not sure why it's telling you there isn't enough SD storage. Are you able to try a 16 GB card? They're pretty inexpensive these days.

I also wonder if it's telling you that you don't have enough Internal Storage to complete this operation. I don't know the technicalities of moving an app to SD, but perhaps it needs enough room on Internal Storage (for example, if it creates a temporary file on Internal Storage as part of the app moving process). What happens if you clear out some space on Internal Storage, then try to move the app again?
