Recent pictures show in album for only a minute then disappear? ??

Hello
My phone did a massive update yesterday, to Marshmellow?
Afterwards, I couldn't open my texts and all of the pictures I take disappear within minutes.
Also, my phone went back in time almost two weeks date /time.

Is there a way to recover the pictures and videos I've taken? I can take one, see the little square in the album, but when I go to open it, the photo is gone. It was our family camping trip this weekend so naturally I want the pictures and videos of my children.

What is your phone model?
If possible pull the batter for a couple minutes and then restart the phone.

Also if using a micro sd card for the camera /photos make sure it's not full.

A full sdcard will usually malfunction like that.... Also fake micro SD cards will do the same.
