why wont my phone turn on after it fell in the pool

My galaxy 6 phone dropped in the pool while wrapped in my towel. I dried it as soon as i could. I does not allow me to take the battery out and I can't remembered if i turned it off before i stuck in rice. When i went to check on it hours later it was hot and said troubleshooting do not turn of target. Of course i went on the internet and found out how to turn that off. Well now it wont turn on or take a charge when i connect to charger (just in case it has no battery life) i stuck it back in the riceto be safe. What should i do with my phone?

Don't use rice for one it's the worse thing one can do to electronics just let it dry out on its own maybe use silica bags if u have some they are best.. Not rice.
Rice will cause corrosion and make it worse also a bath in 100% pure alcohol will help, with time may power on if not take it apart if possible dry it of more.
