    Hi,

I received a message from unknown sender with a MMS message. I opened the message from my quick menu and the message shortly disappeared giving me no option to reply. Nor an option to tap to download the MMS. I believe this was an attempted stage fright hack. Since I did not download the MMS I am wondering if I am safe.

Can anyone verify this statement and possibly provide steps to mitigate any posed risks or analyzing software that might help me identify if something was successfully exploited using stage fright MMS?

I am version 6.0.1 with security patch from Aug 5 2016.
