Options menu pruned in Marshmallow?

Today I had my Android updated to Marshmallow. I feel that the Options menu has been drastically simplified. How can I tweak the Accounts settings, for example, how often to sync, how many emails to download, etc. Worst of all, my company asks us to change passwords once in a while. Do I now have to remove the account and create a new one in order to change the password?

What device? What mail client are you using?

I have a Nexus 6P, the account settings on the GMail app allow the settings you're looking for (how many days of mail to sync, sync frequency. It also allows you to update your server settings to update your password.
