Why can't I update my Galaxy S6?

A

AC Question

Hello Guys,

I've got a Galaxy S6 SM-G920F UK Model (32GB) and I cannot update to 6.0 or even 5.1. Currently it's running Android 5.0.1.

When I try to update it says "The latest updates have already been installed," what can I do to solve the issue?

Not sure if it's rooted or not. How can I manually update my phone to the latest firmware? And where can I find it for free?

You can start by downloading and installing Samsung Smartswitch and letting it check for software updates for you. - https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...ung.com%2Fus%2Fsmart-switch%2F&token=-caHE7E7 It's certainly not the best computer software but it should be able to find the latest updates for your device and help you install them. If not, then at least it'll produce some errors that may further help you figure out the issue.
