    Dose any one know how to turn the proximity sensor off on a Microsoft lumia 640 phone? Please any help is appreciated..

    I don't think it's something that could be turned off.

    Yeah, i dont think so either, all the research ive done says it can be removed, or u can reporgam it with a computer to just not use that sensor. Anywayz thanx for verifying what i all ready thought ,my 11year old son just doesnt want to give the windows fone up yet. Because he can connect to his xbox with it.

    I had a similar problem of wanting to disable the OIS on my Lumia 1020. It has the screeching fault and I thought that disabling the OIS would be a simple way of dealing with it instead of a replace/repair, but it can't be done.

    Tell me about it, and what sucx even more is i hate windows fones, i just haven't researched them enough to rewrite the codes for its apps. And to top it all off the city i live in no one will even replace the screen. I think i could do it but if i mess it up then my son will hate me forever.. Lol
