My Android S6 battery drained last night and when turned on my contacts were all lost, i only have 4 contacts that were saved to my device the rest were saved to my sim card. I went to contacts - more - import/export and the only options i have are email, google account etc. Sim card is not an option, i tried adding a new contact and the sim card isnt the option either. I thouhgt my sim card was not being read but it is, Can someone please help with the problem!!! I need my contacts back ASAP!

    Hello.

How many contacts did you have.
Not many names and numbers can be saved on the sim card.

Have you opened the Contacts app, 3 dot/ menu - Contacts to Display.

Can you look at this on a web browser with your account

    https://contacts.google.com/u/0/preview/all

or they may be Samsung contacts.

Try also Settings - Accounts - Google / Samsung - tap account name - Sync - Contacts.
