why is my phone S7 Edge freezing?

[AC Question]

Upon purchase it performed well but after 3 months it is increasingly freezing and can't take calls or accept any commands until the battery drains and i plug it into power.

I thought the storage was full and tried to delete many image and video files which improved performance slightly but I am still perturbed by the issue.
