My Galaxy s5 is a year old and, since the battery was draining very quickly, I decided it was time to buy a new one. Went to batteries plus and they gave me an Empire replacement battery. I put it in, let it fully charge, then turned the phone on, but I noticed within minutes that my charge was already at 95%. An hour later, I was at 75, so the new battery did absolutely nothing to help. My phone also overheats very easily. Usually the battery lasts about 4 hours with average usage. I also did a factory reset, and that didn't help either.
Could it be a problem with my phone? Or did they just give me a faulty battery? Thanks in advance for any advice.
