I was really excited to get a new galaxy s5 and the phone itself seems to run fine. However, I soon found that the battery drained extremely quickly. After about a half hour turned off 10-15% of the battery was drained. I reset it again so there were no apps, tried to disable some of the AT&T bloatware, lowered the screen brightness, and turned off location services, but the battery apps still reads as only about 2.5 hours remaining. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Did you buy it brand new in a box, or used but "new to you"? If it's used, it might just be an old battery. If it's brand new, if possible, take it back to wherever you bought it for an exchange.
