Sms and mms troubleshooting help plz...

[AC Question]

I bought unlocked moto X powered by android but belonhs to no specific carrier. My current service is through straight talk so i just removed micro sim from my active phone and placed inside the sim tray of new phone, all has been wonderful for the month I've had it until yesterday, my mms and sms got shut down so wont send or recieve only, internet and calls still work accordingly. How can I redeem my msg capabilities without my service provider being contacted, they were also no help upon calling. Thanks need diff tips and tricks to try.
