Calling hubby's phone get call forwarded

[AC Question]

I have an Samsung S7 and hubby a Samsung S5. When I call his number and we let it ring, it does not go to voicemail, my phone says call forwarded. I have spent numerous hours with ATT tech support, no luck, even swapped out sim cards. His phone does not have my number blocked, forwarded or rejected. And even more weird, when his phone is off....I get his voicemail. Any ideas???

What did AT&T say? have you tried popping in to a store for someone to look at it? he must have some call forwarding option enabled. Does it happen when someone else calls him or just you?
