S6 edge got wet

[AC Question]

During the night my phone fell of my bed on to floor where I had a glass of water there is water damage however I have no insurance as it's new contract phone I never thought about insurance when got it and wasn't asked about it either now I have it with a third party trying t be fixed what can I do do I have any hope with the new contract as well
