Backup 100media image formats unreadable, can't view on PC.

Hi, a friend did a backup of his HTC phone onto his PC, I can't figure out how he did it, I think he said he used a sync manager, the phone no longer works and they now have a samsung which they want to transfer the images over to. When I checked the image folder where the images were stored on the PC they're all some weird unreadable format, I can't for the life of me figure out how to view these images or transfer them onto his Samsung Galaxy. I've posted a screenshot of the file formats, the files are in a folder called 100media. Thanks
