Why do my contacts' work numbers keep changing to home?

I'm using the default contacts app on my S7 Edge. I imported all of my contacts from my iPhone 6 using the Copy My Data app. When I open my contacts, all work numbers are listed as home numbers. When I change them to work and hit save, the number is still listed as home. I've also tried deleting the number, adding it as a new number and selecting work. Again, this had no effect. If I create a new contact, then the work label sticks. I'd rather not recreate all of my contacts to fix this. Thanks.
