    https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/connectivity/bluetooth.html
    contains a section "Connecting as a server" that contains "Example" code that
    contains:

    /** Will cancel the listening socket, and cause the thread to finish */
    public void cancel() {
    try {
    mmServerSocket.close();
    } catch (IOException e) { }
    }

    QUESTIONS:
    Is there any way to call this function?
    Is it left over from long ago and no longer applies?
    Does it get called by some undocumented subsystem?
    If so, when and under what circumstances?
    Is there any better Bluetooth documentation?

    Thanks,

    Howard
