Just did the update from at&t the other day

Now my battery life seems worse and I can't see my recent apps is anyone else having this problem

The specifics can change from device to device but for the Note 5 on MM
Open settings and under the personal section select Google settings, Search Now, Voice, OK Google, then move the switches to the left on the three switches
From Google, From any screen and I think the third is personal results.

As for the battery, while you are in Google settings. Under services, disable "Nearby"
