Samsung T310 Galaxy 3 8 inch Freezing and restarting random shut offs

My 2ish year old Samsung T310 Galaxy 3 8‑inch 16GB Wi‑Fi is randomly freezing. It will also just shut down intermittentl. The worst part is it'll just shut off power down if in standby mode or not being used. Not sure why it's doing this. I have cleared the data. Going to try to wipe the cache to see if that will fix it. Any one else with this problem? Or anyone know of a fix?

The Cache Partition wipe is a good idea.
A bad SD card may cause trouble.
So may a third-party app....try Safe Mode to test that possibility.

So I wiped Cache and started in safemode, seemed to work a little bit better, but when I ran you tube and streamed some video it froze again. Strange thing is that I see it's downloading something but can't swipe that menu down because it's frozen?? Any thoughts?

So I wiped the cache, took SD card out and ran in safe mode and it still freezes. It's very intermentant. It's very strange. Any other ideas? I am trying to avoid fdr.
