Andorid.system stops working and photos being deleted?

Sometimes my Samsung Galaxy Core Prime has these little "fits" as I call them. It continues to give me system error messages saying the android.sytems or samsung system services or whatever "have stopped working" and it sends the same error message pop-up repeatedly, then deletes my home screen background and everything stops working. I then have to restart my phone and when it turns back on everything is no longer glitchy, but my homescreen is still gone. Then it will happen again a few days later.
I need advice as what to do to fix this problem...
