Dreaded Unwanted Email spam folder on my Galaxy S5

Hello Has anyone figured out a more permanent fix for this issue / or a way to disable this? I have gone through the steps of deleting the domain items in the spam folder and then deleting the folder itself. But this unwanted folder just keeps coming back. it's a real PITA. why cant this stuff just go to junk like all the email folders work?
