Flashlight keeps turning on by itself. HTC 10

Hi. I have had an HTC 10 for a little over a month and haven't had any problems with it until last night. I was changing some settings - mostly resetting app defaults and now my flashlight keeps turning on by itself. I don't even have to be touching my phone. It will just turn on. When I press the power button to turn on the screen it turns off. Whats up with that and how do I fix it? I'd rather not do a reset if I can help it. However, if the flashlight turns on when it is in my bag or something and I don't notice then it will totally drain my battery. Not to mention blind me when I least expect it.

In settings, check under accessibility option, the hearing subsection has an option to have flash notifications. Make sure it is set to off.
