Is it only the Samsung Note 7 being recalled?

I've bought the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the very 1st day the phone was so hot you could barely hold it. After a week of continued complaining, AT&T replaced the whole phone because you can't just get a new battery anymore.

Yes. The Note 7 uses a new battery chemical that apparently had a bad effect of overheating.

You probably just had a bad batch.
