The Wall Street Journal app collects and send SIM card details including address book, mobile PIN and call history (see screenshot). This is a violation of privacy, why would the Wall Street Journal needs to know who's in my address book, who I called and my mobile PIN? I have also the New York Times app and the New York Times don't collect and send my SIM card details. Why would the Wall Street Journal need to collect and send these personal information?
