I got a Galaxy S7 from my friend and I tried resetting it but I needed his daughters gmail for some reason to complete the reset. So I tried to bypass it but apparently the update this S7 is on fixed the bug.
So I tried to downgrade to 6.0.1 but when I put the phone in download mode it doesnt get recognized by Odin. I've tried all 6 different USB ports on my pc and nothing.
I believe in order for it to recognize you have to enable debug or something like it in the phone? Is there any way to get around that since I cant even get into the phone anymore before the inital setup that asks me for the old gmail account.
