Ring time was extended but email now not being received on Samsung Mega.

AT&T store extended ring time from 10 to 30 seconds on my Samsung Mega. On that same date and time, I stopped receiving incoming AOL email. Can send emails but not receive. Have found no help on Google. Will go back to the store but would like to save the trip! Must I remove and reinstall the email account?
