Why is my phone saying i have no sim card?

I have an lg g stylo and yesterday my niece was playing with it and hit something in the settings. Now my phone is saying i have no sim card. Please tell me what I can do to fix this!!

1) Please turn the device off
2) Pry open the rear cover with a coin or safety pin
3) Remove the battery
4) Extract the sim card
5) Check to see if the card has been damaged or if the card's leads have been deformed
6) Clean with an eraser or very lightly scuff the card's leads with an Emory board
7) Clean the sim card with alcohol
8) Replace and secure the sim card back into it's mounting potion
9) Reinstall the battery
10) Reinstall the rear cover
11) Turn your device back on
