Why is my Samsung Go5 making noise every single minute?

I just got my Samsung Galaxy Go5 (SM-G550T1) a week ago and I've noticed the entire week that it would constantly make noise ever so often. I finally realized this morning that it doesn't just make noise at random times. It happens every minute like clockwork. Somehow it's tied to Media Volume because when that's down, I don't hear it (which is why I didn't realize it's every minute). The noise it makes is not one of the notification sounds...in fact, this jingley noise isn't even an option on the list of notification sounds to choose from. I've checked so many settings, but to no avail. Does anyone else know of this issue and, if so, how to fix the thing before I lose my mind and have a stroke?

I'm not sure what OS your phone is running, but try opening Settings and search for "Notification Reminder". Notification reminder (when enabled) will beep at set intervals to remind you of any unread messages. Not sure if it's the culprit since you say you hear a jingly noise.
