Bluetooth streaming issues - Nougat upgrade.

Hey all, I have a 6P, never had any of the other common bluetooth issues with android or the nexus devices specifically. I recently downloaded the OTA nougat upgrade a couple of days ago and since then I cannot get any media streaming over bluetooth. Not a single bluetooth device that previously worked, works now. Only thing that has changed is Nougat. My car, my girlfriend's car, my Jaybird headphones and monster speaker, none of them worked and all previously worked flawlessly. I can make and receive calls with my headphones and cars, but bluetooth media will not work. I have checked the settings and media audio is enabled but in the menu which lists my devices it will say "CONNECTED (no media)"

any help? this is incredibly frustrating and I don't know how to roll back my firmware.
