Trying to find galaxy s7

my phone was lost or stolen and it does have an anti thief from avg but the locator can not pick it up unless it is turned on and it has not been turned on so I was wandering if there was a way to track it

As long as you had your Samsung account linked to it and didn't disable KNOX, then you can go here:

You can remotely enable GPS and find exact location of the device, signal an alarm, or do a factory reset.

Did you try FIND MY MOBILE from Samsung? As long as you were logged into your Samsung account on your device and you didn't disable KNOX, you can remotely enable GPS and track your device, signal an alarm flare, and factory reset it. There is a weblink from Samsung that lets you do this from your web browser.
