I have a crackling noise when I text

I bought my Lgg5 about 2 months ago and it has been working great, until last night I tried to return a text and I have this awful crackling/popping noise when ever I text or message anyone. It doesnt happen when I touch the screen to open apps, just when I use the keypad.. I though maybe my volume and vibration was turned on and set too high somehow but it is not. I turned the phone off for a while and turned it back on this morning and it is still making the same awful noise. Has anyone else had this issue and do can you tell me possible fixes or do I need to bring it to the store..ugh

Hi, could it be that you've enabled the keyboard sound? have you also tried out some different keyboards from the play store to see if that helps?
