how to move apps to SD card

Why are so many of the apps greyed out as an option to move to SD Card? My bogus tablet does not have enough memory, so I bought an SD card and now very few of the apps can be moved to it. Why?

It's the way the apps were compiled plus internal storage processes data far quicker than sd cards. Coupled with cards having a limited life span they would quickly corrupt. That is why cards are primarily for media

The cards are meant for your pictures, videos, documents, and other media.
Leave your apps on the main memory.
