Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Crashing

[AC Question]

Multiple times per day when I pull my Note 4 out of my pocket and press the home key or power button to wake it the phone does not turn on. The screen remains black for about 30 seconds before it turns on with a message stating that the phone was restarted and a prompt to enter my backup passcode instead of my finger print. I have looked though all of my apps and none seem to be worrisome or troublesome. I should also note that my battery has been draining VERY quickly since I began having the crashing issues.

Boot into smart mode which will disable third party apps. If this doesn't cause your device to crash you have a troublesome app which could well be the one causing battery drain. Reboot into normal mode and leave the phone in standby for a few hours. Check your battery stats to track it down and uninstall.
