Has anyone installed "aCalendar" (the android app) on their Chromebook?

I have an Asus Chromebook Flip. With Android apps and the play store now available on the stable channel I downloaded aCalendar. I'm not able to get it to sync and pull my calendars in from google. It asks me for my account, I choose the account and it tells me that its syncing but the calendar remains blank.

Anyone have any luck with app?
