Why is my battery draining

I am having Motorola nexus6 mobile.when iam not using mobile or if it is in airplane mode my mobile consuming battery.usually when iam in office mobiles are not allowed inside so I keep Mobile in airplane mode and kept it locker(morning 8 am),when I collect mobile evening (4pm) approx 10hrs even though it is consuming 10 percent of the battery.s suggest me the solution for this immediately.

Hi and welcome to AC! Do you have a decent signal (4g or wifi)? Bad signal impacts how the battery can drain. The next full charge wait until the battery is around 40% and before putting your phone on the charger get screen shots (screen on time, battery stats, etc). This can help us help you figure out what is going on with the battery.

Welcome to Android Central! 1% battery drain every hour actually isn't that unusual. If the phone is being completely unused during that 10 hour period, I suggest powering down.
