For the initial charge of my g4 plus...i charged it for 3 hours...

I charged it for 3 hrs....and now im loseing battery at a fast rate

It's not how long you charged it, it's whether it was charged to 100% the first time (it should be - and then another 30 minutes). Initially, a lot of apps will be updating, so there will be a lot of battery drain. Let the phone run (you can turn it on or off - don't charge it) until it tells you to charge it. Then charge it to 100%. Repeat the cycle 3 times for maximum battery life. (From then on, don't discharge it to lower than 40%.)
