Snapdragon vs. Exynos processor

A

AC Question

Why is it that almost all (that I know of) phones in the US use the snapdragon processor instead of the Exynos? It seems one processor form would be more efficient. Is there some rule or provider lobbying for the snapdragon?

I have been seeing that the exynos CPU is a faster processor, better? I wonder if anyone really knows why these things are the way they are.

I was thinking of purchasing the international version to use with US Verizon because of all of the vendor bloatware and limits. Do you think that is a good idea?

Thank you for your support.
