it says an error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in the smart switch PC software but i tried using that but it says device is incompatible im using Samsung galaxy j500f i tried to use odin to flash it back to its stock rom and it fails at 90ish % and say Odin binary size is too large: hidden

Sounds like you are trying to flash an incorrect ROM or the FW file has an error. The firmware is device specific. Make sure you use the correct one and try downloading from a different source
